Mimi Szeto is a writer, editor and digital professional from Toronto. She got her start as a fact checker for Toronto Life magazine and later became the online listings editor at where.ca and torontolife.com where she helped relaunch Toronto Life’s online eating and drinking guide. Following that, she ventured into film at Ontario Creates (formerly the Ontario Media Development Corporation) where she was heavily involved with the redesign of the Ontario Film Commission’s website and Film Location Library. Mimi has managed web content for ServiceOntario, Consumer Protection Ontario, Ontario’s government funding page and, most recently, for the Ministry of Transportation. A bookworm at heart, Mimi is interested in food, travel, entertainment, business and technology. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Ryerson University in Magazine Journalism and a Master of Information Studies degree from University of Toronto in Library and Information Science.
